Shopping Edit- Coffee Machines

Coffee Machines

Hey, I hope you are having a fabulous start to your easter holidays! The weather isn't that good for us sadly, so lots of rainy weather activities shall be planned! Starting with investing in a decent coffee machine...

We have always had one of these 'pod' coffee machines which has served us well, however now buying ALOT of coffees we have decided to invest in a good Delonghi coffee machine. I have had a few friends use some different models and have narrowed it down to these...

Delonghi Eletta Cappuccino Top

This has a button function so you can just click what coffee you require, it also can have a separate milk froth spout so you can control the temperature extra easy and froth the milk separately instead of in the milk container as shown in the photo. Limited stock left they may have some used ones available to buy with even more savings.

Delonghi Eletta Cappuccino

This seems a great coffee machine, same as the one above but slightly cheaper, this one doesn't have buttons but has a touch screen to select which coffee you are after. It also only has the milk container and doesn't have a separate spout for you to froth milk separately. Great as a cheaper alternative. There isn’t many in stock so be quick, they may have some used ones still available saving even more.

Delonghi Primadonna Soul

This is one of the more expensive ones (and possibly the one Im steering too) The touchscreen is more of a smart feature, and has a larger litre capacity. I like the look of this one!

Delonghi Dinamica Plus

Same as above but has a different touch screen option. Doesn't have the separate spout to froth milk. A good priced coffee machine though.

I haven’t done as much research on the Sage ones below but these also come highly recommended!

Classic Children's Camel Coats

 Classic Children's Camel Coats

Hi lovelies,

I just wanted to share this fabulous find from Monsoon- matching beautiful coats I purchased for the children.

The girls coats have a super soft faux fur collar which is also detachable, making it perfect to dress up for family dinner outings or you can make it slightly more casual without the faux fur for everyday use.

For Cassius I purchased the camel pea coat which I am hoping to get Jaime a matching coat (yet to find) and it makes him look so smart and so cute.

Zadar- Croatia

Z A D A R   &   C A M P I N G

Croatia

Our first stop when we made it to Croatia was near Zadar. We stayed at a fabulous campsite called Falkensteiner Camping Zadar

It was a great Campsite and perfect for the kiddies as had a huge pool with waterslides and was right on the beach. Girls had a morning at the kids club making pizzas which they loved, and they got to eat when they had finished. It had amazing ice-cream too! Lovely few days spent here.

We also got to see out friends who have been traveling for a while and made it to Croatia just before we got here.

We ventured into the main town called Zadar via taxi which was about a 7 minute drive and very cheap.

Little taxi ride to this town to see the Sea Organ which are steps made into the sea so when the waves go over they play music. It was a very pretty sound although quite busy and had a massive cruise ship next to it (Jaime rode there the morning before at 6am and said it was empty and he got a video which was so much more peaceful, but glad we saw it.

Zadar is a very pretty town with a lot of the old historical buildings and architecture, which is my favourite thing to see.

We all got an ice-cream but it was so hot Tahlias melted straight off and fell on the floor before she could get a lick (the nice lady gave her another) and then Sienna's did the same bit luckily she had eaten a fair bit

We were only here for a few hours as was very hot and unless you want to shop we had seen all we needed so went straight back to the pool to cool off.

It was a very beautiful start to our 5 week summer travels.

Afternoon Tea at Chewton Glen & Karen Millen Dress

Afternoon Tea at Chewton Glen

& Karen Millen Dress

I recently went to one of the most beautiful afternoon teas at the Chewton Glen.

This was my first time going there and I’m definitely wanting to go back to explore more and stay for the night. I have always heard excellent reviews of Chewton Glen and the afternoon tea didn’t disappoint!

Chewton Glen is a luxury country house hotel & spa based in the New Forest.

I wore this beautiful Karen Millen dress which sadly isn’t online anymore, paired with nude So Kate louboutins, small Gucci belt, nude YSL bag, nude & gold butterfly detail headband from our trip to Venice and my cream H&M coat I purchased recently.

Always looking for more recommendations for places to visit for afternoon tea so let me know your favourites in the comments and il try and check them out!

I purchased this Boohoo outfit in 3 different colours and I love them.

Great for spring time as a busy mum of four, something quick and easy to chuck on for school runs, casual brunch or perfect as that comfy airport outfit when flying off to some warm and sunny tropical destination.  (off to book a holiday, any holiday) They fit extremely well (Im wearing an 8) and I have to say the feel and quality is excellent.

B A R B A D O S

H O L I D A Y T O B A R B A D O S

So Barbados has been a family favourite for a few years now! We have been 3 times and Im currently booking to go again this year hopefully! We stay in a beautiful villa on the west coast also known as the "Platinum Coast" in Holetown.

T H E V I L L A-
We had a two week stay at one of the gorgeous villas at Royal Westmoreland. This is a gated community and the golf and grounds are very beautiful. There is a golf club you can have lunch and some drinks, the food and views are wonderful. There is also a bar/restaurant called the Rum Shack if you wanted to grab something to eat onsite with fab food. This is a lovely place to stay, very family friendly and had lots of amenities with a gym, swimming pool, tennis and a couple of shops within the golf club. Our villa had a swimming pool which was great for early morning swims with the girls. Also we had a few visits from a cute little family of monkeys.

B O A T T R I P-
We had a fantastic boat trip with a company called Breezing Boat Snorkeling Tours Barbados. I literally had a google at company’s that left from Holetown with good reviews and not too expensive and this was perfect! The cost for us as a family of 6 (my brother tagged along) was really good, we were slightly out of peak season but there was only us and another couple on the boat it was almost like we had it to ourselves. They arranged to collect us from the closest point we were staying which made it nice and convenient, collected the other passengers from their hotel and then we headed to the spot where the turtles are which is right outside Sandy Lane hotel. You can jump in and literally swim so close to the turtles. I think this has been one of our best experiences ever so far! We then went to the sunken shipwrecks and reefs which have been purposely sunk to create an artificial reef and is now home to numerous fish and coral. They also took loads of photos on their underwater camera and sent us a link at the end with all our photos once we had reviewed the trip. Whole experience was fabulous but we were very lucky with how quiet it was.
We have done another two boat trips since with people we met and are friends of my mum & stepdad just on their boats.

O I S T I N S Fish Fry-
If you can get down to Oistins the best evening to go is on a Friday night. We have been every time we come! The atmosphere is fun and lively, there is live music, people walking around singing and dancing, stools to buy little trinkets and an unlimited selection of fresh food stalls to try! I personally love seafood and the food here was amazing! We managed to get a table as it gets very busy but once you do you can sit back and watch the bustling people and entertainment while your food gets cooked literally four meters away from you. There’s a good variety choice of different types of fish, shrimp and chicken. We went twice and ate at the same stall as the food and service was really good. I also liked how family friendly it is. Our girls loved it!

T I D E S-
I think this was my all time favourite restaurant the first time we went. The service was exceptional, we had a table booked early evening so we could watch the sunset (and have 3 small children) and it was nice and quiet. Our table was right next to the sea and they have these beautiful large trees entwined through the roof. The food was soooo good! Both myself and Jaime had the king prawn curry and oh my gosh it was delicious. I’m sad I didn’t get a picture as it was served so beautifully in coconut shells but we literally dove straight in. Also the decor of the whole restaurant has a very chic laidback style, I think I could have stayed there longer. I’d highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or just a nice fancy meal. We make sure we go every time and I always have the same curry it is exceptional!

L O N E S T A R-
This was a recommendation from my mum who has been a few times. The food here was divine, it’s is more a la carte very similar to tides but probably a little bit more expensive. I personally preferred the more laidback vibe with Tides but Lone Star has amazing decor and gorgeous sea views too. We had a fairly big party of us and this is the only photo any of us took...oops... (will have to go back!)

EDIT**
We have been every time we come! This is definitely another all time favourite and the sunsets are beautiful (well anywhere on this pretty island the sunsets are amazing)

S U R F S I D E restaurant and beach bar-
This was a very lovely place to eat. We had breakfast here a couple of times. The price wasn’t bad and the spot is just gorgeous to sit and have some food or a morning coffee. They do lovely milkshakes the girls loved too. There is a big menu for lunch and dinner but unfortunately we didn't get to try that out this time. There is always next...

Bean n Bagel-
We ate here a couple of times for breakfast and to just grab a coffee. The food was really good quality and again good prices. They had lots milkshakes here with a variety of flavours which were all really nice, the girls loved them, and some smoothies if you wanted to be a bit healthier (I attempted but FAILED). Very good, service was lovely.

We have the BEST time in Barbados every time we come, full of amazing memories. The girls are always desperate to go back (think we want to go back more). Its a beautiful island with wonderful people.

Hope you enjoyed.
