Sunday Lunch at Limewood

New Forest

For fathers day this year we went to Limewood which is a favourite of ours, and somewhere we have been for many occasions, previous fathers days, birthdays girls lunches, and just for nice weekend lunch/dinners. We have stayed overnight in their spectacular hotel and had a couple of spa days in the herb house which is just gorgeous.

Since our last visit they now have a huge marquee over the outside garden terrace which has created a lot more space and you can still feel like you are outside. Harper did say she was cold and they kindly have some fluffy blankets if you require. To eat I had a tomato & mozzarella to start, jaime had the lobster gnocchi, followed by the steak & chips and the burger & chips. We have tried a few different things off their menus and we are never disappointed! Harper & Tahlia had a delicious Mac & cheese, Sienna had a children's burger & chips and Cassius had children fish fingers & chips.

We went to go and walk around the gardens after we had eaten but sadly the rain came. We have been round before, they have a really cute little swing down by the lake and an exceptional unique stay on what feels like your own private little island, I am yet to stay here, we have only stayed in the main house.
