With Santa 🎅

We had such a wonderful time on the City Experiences festive cruise with Santa (sorry another delayed post)

However they run cruises all year round so you can experience seeing the harbour and everything around it, the spring and summer trips are amazing! You can book via this link- cityexperiences.com they have lots of different events so check them out!

We arrived at Poole harbour and were greeted by the elves, ready to set sail around Poole. There were mince pies, biscuits & lollies for the children, mulled wine, hot drinks & soft drinks included. You could sit outside on the deck (wrap up so you’re nice & toasty) or you can sit inside at the top, or down stairs next to the bar.

Then Santa 🎅 made an appearance on board which the children loved, and spoke to each child individually giving them a fab gift to take home.

It was such a lovely day and considering it had been raining all morning the weather was perfect! We grabbed some fish and chips before we went on which were amazing!

Highly recommend you bookmark this as a reminder for this year if you’re looking for a Christmassy family activity to do!

I had the best pizza at Pi Pizza in Poole catching up with some lovely friends from the Bournemouth Bloggers a little while back (only just getting round to uploading... sorry, this was actually just before Christmas, so the decor inside and out was just beautiful (as it is with out the xmas decs)!!

The choice and variety of pizzas were so so good, and you can do half & half which is great for us as a family of 6 all wanting different toppings, but with the pizzas still so big there is more than enough to go around! The starters were delicious too and I was kept warm with a wonderful mulled wine 🍷

Pipizza is situated right next to Poole quay, and they had so many beautiful Christmas lights all around to see! If you can get down there this year I highly recommend!

Noisy Lobster is a gorgeous family run, restaurant located on Avon beach along the stunning Dorset coast, serving delicious fresh, local seafood, divine cocktails and incredible views. There is a convenient car park right out the front.

I have been a few times now to Noisy Lobster and every time the food is perfect.

The seacuterie starters were delicious and the fresh sour dough boule was divine with the lobster oil & balsamic dressing.

I had thee most amazing steak ever when I visited recently with the wonderful Bournemouth Bloggers. Cooked to perfection and the chips and salad were delicious. The food and cocktails are exceptional every time I have visited.

There are spectacular views from every angle, even on a wet and cloudy day. And you can be sure to spot some swimmers & paddle boarders all year round! The decor inside both restaurants has a lovely warm and welcoming ambiance with a touch of luxury, and they also have an upstairs area you can hire for functions.

If you get the chance I highly recommend! You won't be disappointed!

I have been luck enough to come to Captains Club a few times now and its always such a lovely place to visit! I was kindly invited to Captains Club Hotel to see their amazing cocktails made with the most wonderful local liquor from Conker Distillery and got to watch a little masterclass. Captains Club is situated along side the beautiful river in Christchurch, Dorset.

We were also treated to a fabulous tour of the hotel and were shown around the 3 bedroom apartment suite, these have a beautiful ship style decor- one bedroom even has a large porthole window in the ceiling so you can stargaze (amazing) a lovely lounge area with floor to ceiling windows so you can see the pretty river views, (the hotel has been designed so every room faces out to the river) beautiful kitchen, bathroom & en-suite!

We got to try some delicious canapés with their Midas Prosecco while sat in the bar area next to the gorgeous fire, such a lovely atmosphere and also dog friendly everywhere (except the main restaurant) which I think is amazing!

Definitely go take a visit if you haven’t been before! Or if you have, maybe this is you sign to go again!
